So, you’re a Baby Boomer or a GenXer? Do you feel guilty and ashamed because of the climate legacy you are leaving to the younger generations?

If so, wouldn’t you like to be able to actually do something about it?

Wouldn’t you like to actually feel GOOD, knowing you’re part of a movement that has a practical solution for the climate crisis, a solution that is literally as big as the problem itself? — which, when you think about it, it kinda has to be — a solution designed to benefit your children and grandchildren and their children and grandchildren and their children and grandchildren?

If your answers are YES, then please consider two more questions. . .

What do the following artists and groups have in common?
They (and others) are all going to be invited to participate in the international CLIMATE AID Concert Series to raise funds and consciousness to support the Grandchildren’s Fund for a Fossil Fuel Free Future in suing the fossil fuel profiteers for damages to the health and welfare of today’s and tomorrow’s youth.

Like, for example, what the heck is the Grandchildren’s Fund for a Fossil Fuel Free Future?

The Grandchildren’s Fund for a Fossil Fuel Free Future is a nonprofit membership group currently organizing to bring lawsuits against the fossil fuel profiteers for damages to the health and welfare of today’s and tomorrow’s youth and to administer anticipated settlement monies for their benefit.

The fossil fuel profiteers are the tier #1 oil and gas drilling and refining conglomerates, the coal mining and processing conglomerates, and the carbon-based electrical production utilities, as well as their tier #2 enablers: their institutional investors (hedge funds, brokerage firms, banks, pension funds, university endowments, etc.), their trade associations, their allied foundations and think tanks, their paid-for congressional hearings expert witnesses, and their bought-and-paid-for state and federal politicians.

The basic strategy of the Grandchildren’s Fund for a Fossil Fuel Free Future is to quickly utilize both the courts and the marketplace — the courts, where the fossil fuel profiteers can be held accountable right away, without having to wait for years until enough politicians are either magically enlightened or replaced, and the marketplace, where the fossil fuel conglomerates must go daily to obtain the money they need for their ongoing operations.

In the courts, lawsuits can be filed immediately against both the tier #1 conglomerates and their tier #2 enablers. And in the marketplace the mere prospect of their own substantial vulnerability, as well as the certain vulnerability of the tier #1 conglomerates, will be enough to cause the tier #2 enablers to increasingly, possibly precipitously, abandon fossil fuel ownership and investments, thereby compelling the tier #1 conglomerates to self-defensively retool themselves for renewable energy production much sooner than they would otherwise have done.

The very simple premise of the Grandchildren’s Fund for a Fossil Fuel Free Future is that the profiteers who created the problem and benefited financially from it should be held accountable to recompense the injuries they have caused and to pay for fixing the problem.

The Grandchildren’s Fund for a Fossil Fuel Free Future will also establish and maintain a data bank repository of scientific and legal information to be made available as a Climate Crisis Lawsuit Kit for cities, counties and others to expedite bringing similar lawsuits, both in the United States and in other countries.

This is going to take time and money which is where the CLIMATE AID Concert Series comes in — the more money we raise and the quicker we raise it, the shorter the time until we can achieve results in the marketplace and eventually in the courts.

The CLIMATE AID Concert Series will begin in 2018.
